Brightsite heeft onlangs een belangrijke mijlpaal bereikt\u00a0door het ontvangen van de NXTGEN Hightech subsidie voor de ontwikkeling van hun revolutionaire CO2-vrije plasmatechnologie. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Deze financiering, afkomstig van het NXTGEN Hightech project, een initiatief van het Groeifonds, zal een doorslaggevende rol spelen in de opschaling van deze technologie voor industri\u00eble toepassingen. Het unieke van deze technologie ligt in het vermogen om methaan om te zetten in waterstof en hoogwaardige koolstofproducten zonder CO2-uitstoot, wat een gamechanger kan zijn voor de chemische industrie.<\/p>\n

Deze doorbraak is het resultaat van de samenwerking tussen Brightsite, Universiteit Maastricht en Brightlands Chemelot Campus, binnen het Brighsite Plasmalab. Het project focust op het verfijnen en ontwikkelen van bestaande en nieuwe plasmatechnologie\u00ebn, waarbij studenten, TNO, Sitech Services, en andere bedrijfspartners betrokken zijn. Vanuit Sitech maakt Hans Kroon deel uit van het projectteam.<\/p>\n

Brightsite is een publiek-private samenwerking tussen Sitech Services, TNO, Maastricht University en Brightlands Chemelot Campus en richt zich op de verduurzaming van de chemische industrie, onder andere op de Chemelot site.<\/p>\n
