Customized algorithm to prevent fouling

Challenge

Recently, our client expressed a need for an automated analyses to predict early signs of contamination concerning filters. The motivation for this need is driven by the fact that filters often need replacing if they pollute beyond a certain threshold. Our goal was to create a model which could predict the pollution to be able to clean the filters before replacement is necessary.

Added value:
By using readily available sensor data, we created a model which detects early signs of contamination. Through Condition Based Monitoring we are able to prevent excessive contamination concerning the filters, meaning that the client no longer has to replace the entire filter – savings in both time and money.
