Christian Widdershoven new CEO asset operations

In anticipation of the upcoming privatization and split of Sitech Services, CEO Marc Dassen has appointed Christian Widdershoven to lead the asset activities. With his extensive experience in management roles at DSM, Lanxess, and Arlanxeo, Widdershoven is the perfect fit for this important new role.

Sitech is the owner of infrastructure on the Chemelot site (rails, roads, buildings, wastewater system) and the water purification plant. The establishment of an independent asset company clears the way for the development of a financially strong development company that will play a crucial role in the transition of Chemelot.

Widdershoven: We are in an exciting transition period and I am confident that together with all stakeholders we will be able to shape a strong and independent asset and service company that will contribute to a succesful and sustainable future for the Chemelot site.”
