Sitech Holding continues as Circle Infra Partners

On Monday 27 November 2023, Sitech Holding ushered in a new phase with its name change to Circle Infra Partners.

Since the split of Sitech on 1 June 2023 into Sitech Services, acquired by Ebert Hera, and Sitech Holding, the latter company has focused on managing the assets and ownership of infrastructure on the Chemelot site. The intention is to sell this business unit to a strategic partner.

This significant change was celebrated at a meeting on Monday 27 November. The morning started with CEO Christian Widdershoven officially recording the amended company statutes at the notary. In the afternoon, employees and various partners, including shareholders, customers, suppliers and representatives of government bodies, gathered for the unveiling of the new company name.

Speakers including Christian Widdershoven, Jan Smeelen (chairman of the Supervisory Board) and Pieter Boon (CEO of Anqore, shareholder and customer) gave their views on the future of Circle and the Chemelot site.

Circle Infra Partners aims to build the asset business at Chemelot into a solid foundation for now and for a sustainable future. The company is focused on managing and developing infrastructure such as rail services, utilities including wastewater treatment, logistics and facility management. Safety, future-proofing and efficiency are the guiding principles here.
